Children and Families Worker
In partnership with the Centenary Project in the Diocese of Sheffield.
This is an opportunity to develop the children and families’ work in a thriving parish in south-west Sheffield and be part the Diocese of Sheffield’s exciting initiative, The Centenary Project.
We are looking for a committed Christian to join our team who has experience in children’s work who will co-ordinate and expand the provision for children and families in the life of the church and the wider community.
The role includes:

• co-ordinating the children and families’ ministry at St John’s Ranmoor, developing new opportunities for families to engage with the church.
• recruiting, training and equipping a team of volunteers to support the work with children and families.
• being a member of the Centenary Project Network.

Given the nature and context of the work it is an occupational requirement that the post holder should be a communicant member of the Church of England or a full member of a church within Churches Together in Britain and Ireland.
 
Closing date: 29th October 2023
Interview Date: 9th November 2023
20 hours per week
Contract: 3 years initially
